How fast is your internet connection? I'm using the speed test at http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ for my results. I may come back tomorrow night with a bit of an upgrade ;).

Something like 75 kb/s up... not sure the kbps speed of the top of my head.

I miss my 1.5 down and 1.0 up :(

My Download speed is 12204kbps and Upload speed is 1774kbps.

Advertised at 10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up. Even comes with crapola over-priced Digital Cable that actually lags out! Joy!

(But I'm still faster than most of the people in this thread though.)

That's what it says, but I usually get a better download and a worse upload o_o

Its advertised as 5mbit down 800kbit up. Its fairly consistent for whats available with DSL here. My ISP is pretty reliable though

Download Speed: 4472 kbps (559 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 362 kbps (45.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

Maybe I'll check the desktop later.

My mom's on 56K down the hill (I pay for high speed on my computer). We can download at 1.0 k/s .....on a good day o.o;

I'm a 56k'er T_T Broadband is expensive... well for me anyways.

Download Speed: 37 kbps (4.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 177 kbps (22.1 KB/sec transfer rate)

I never did get why my uploading speed is better than my downloading speed...

That is what you call dial-up.

Hehe.. I'll be the worst! =) Dial-up 56 Kbps. But unlike miforever, dial-up is more expensive than broadband in my opinion. Haha. Maybe I keep downloading Digimon songs.. ~_~"

That depends on who you're using for 56K. We only pay $9.95 a month, while I pay about $50 for high speed. If you're using AOL for ... what are they up to now? $30 a month? It's totally not worth it.

Mine = 0k down, 0k up. (Currently out of regular internet connection)
No point for me to test now, coz i am using public computer.
The fastest I had ever got is ~100KB/s down, ~50KB/s up...

Rogers = Canada's Most Reliable Internet - Rogers F.T.W.!

Of course those cheapos only give you 60 GB/month, and charge you $2.00 CAD/extra gigabyte... Toronto and surrounding areas are saturate with this mega-corporation, we all hate it... (too rich, too evil *weak smile*...)

Highly unreliable though, I get disconnected about every two hours x___x

And Complex Mind, I'm about 40km north of Toronto (http://forums.dats.us/showpost.php?p=93440&postcount=24) and Rogers won't serve us :| Kinda sad. 60 gigs is good though since our provider can seriously complain if we download more than 1 gig a day for a month.

Theoretically, my connection is 6 Mbps download, 768 Kbps upload. But it sometimes gets more than that (I can sometimes get up to 6.2 Mbps, but that might just be a burst, it usually stays at around 5), and other times, my wireless fails miserably.
